I can't unlock the vehicle?

All Ryd vehicles operate with a keyless technology that allows you to unlock the vehicle via the Ryd app. If you encounter any unlocking issues, try the following steps:

  • make sure your mobile phone's Bluetooth is on,

  • close and relaunch the Ryd app before attempting to unlock the vehicle again,

  • if the Bluetooth does not unlock the vehicle, wait a little longer for the mobile network to send the unlocking command (this will happen automatically if the Bluetooth fails),

  • if all above fails, message us and we will flag this as a major incident and try to provide immediate remote support.

The likelihood of a vehicle not unlocking is rare, and you may need to prepare yourself for an alternative transport means as this could be an indicator of a larger issue.
