All fees will be charged directly to the credit card associated with your account in the Ryd app. Transactional fees may apply.
You will be contacted with an email and a notification message in the app.
Administration Fee - $5
Processing fee for any toll road, speeding fine or traffic infringement charges paid on behalf of the user. Charges are automatically paid by Ryd and on-charged to the user directly.
Cleaning Fee - $150
If a user returns the vehicle in a condition that requires additional cleaning due to it being dirty and not soiled.
Soiled Vehicle Fee - $250
For any vehicle that requires cleaning due to it being dirty (soiled). This could be inside or outside by a liquid or other foreign substance such as soil, smoke, mud, vomit or blood.
Insurance Excess - $3600
All drivers must be 21 and over and possess a full New Zealand driver's license.
Smoking Deodoriser Fee - $250
For any vehicles returned smelling of tobacco or smoke residue.
Vehicle Relocation Fees - $250
A minimum fee is payable for the general relocation of a vehicle back to its Designated Parking area. This does not include any additional Infringement charges, such as the impound and towing costs for parking in a tow-away area, nor the booking Tariffs during this time.
Delayed Return Fee - $20
A late return fee is charged if the scheduled return time is exceeded by more than 30 minutes.
Towing and Callouts - $850
Services or roadside assistance required during your rental period. Additional Cost may be incurred depending on time of day, public holidays and distance of the vehicle
The Payment Schedule can also be viewed in the App and is called the Penalty Catalogue under the Terms and Conditions.
We reserve the right to update the Payment Schedule at any time. Any changes will become effective on the date specified in a notice given to you via email or app notification.
